About the CSV ↔ JSON

Spreadsheets export CSV, while APIs, scripts and NoSQL databases want JSON. This converter turns CSV with a header row into an array of JSON objects and turns an array of objects back into CSV. Its parser understands quoted fields, so values that contain commas, quotes or line breaks survive the trip intact.

What you can do

Things to know

• Data is converted in your browser and never uploaded.
• Only commas are recognised as separators; semicolon or tab-separated files need converting first.
• Every CSV value becomes a JSON string, including numbers and true or false.
